Community Boards
Community boards are the grassroots of our local government. With 18 community districts, Brooklyn has the most community boards of all five boroughs, each one full of people who care about the well-being of their community.
Borough Board
The Board holds public hearings on programs and proposed capital projects that impact one or more community districts and issues recommendations to the City Council, City Planning Commission, and Mayor.
