Summary

  • Borough President Antonio Reynoso and Arts Ambassador Colm Dillane will select one pin design to become the 2026 Brooklyn Pin.
  • If selected, Borough President Reynoso’s office will work with the selected designer to make any modifications necessary for production.

Eligibility

  • Must be a resident of Brooklyn or a student attending a K-12 school in Brooklyn.
  • All ages are welcome to apply – minors need consent from a parent or guardian.

Design Criteria

  • The winning design will be creative, original, and a reflection of Brooklyn.
  • To qualify, designs must feature legible text naming Brooklyn. Nicknames and stylized text are acceptable. For example, Brooklyn, BK, BKLYN are permissible options. So are BROOKLYN, bk, Brooooooklyn, etc.
  • Artists should keep in mind that pins will be produced between.33 and .38 mm wide max (1.29 and 1.49 inches).
  • Designs should be appropriate and free of offensive language or imagery.
